Holiday weekend bust

I began an exciting new job this week. It's very close to home, and the work is challenging and interesting. The downside to this flurry of busyness was the crash at the end. I planned to go to visit my sister in Virginia this weekend, but it was not to be.

I've been ill all weekend, with the cold of the season, relapsing on Saturday and missing another social engagement. This has been my friend.
The sickly green Hulk-colored formula really does work better than the cherry flavor, but my! The taste is horrid.

I've spent the weekend watching the Anne of Green Gables series, except for that ridiculous WWI-set. I find it comforting, except that I was convinced that I had scarlet fever during the Gilbert scene towards the end.
